Ziph, a showhouse acrobat, is just short on rent when she knocks on the wrong door and is pulled into a secret lab. Sedated and stuffed in a drop pod, she is transported to a rocky planet in another galaxy. When she ventures from her pod, she befriends a serpent large enough to eat her, and together they run from a pair of hunters.
Forced to make the hard choice to distract the hunters and help her serpent friend escape, she sets off a chase filled with evasive acrobatics, until caught by one of the hunters. When he bites to paralyze her, Ziph makes the terrifying realization she has landed on a planet with highly evolved snakes, and having evolved from a bushy tailed tree rodent, Ziph is all too aware of the danger she is in.
